About the Captain

Captain Lennis Freeman has been fishing the East Coast both fresh water and saltwater for over 30 years. He is originally from Lumberton NC, came to Jacksonville as a Marine in 1975 and knew then that Onslow County is where he would plant roots and raise his family. Joyful Noise Fishing Ministry is Christian owned and operated, with a good clean family atmosphere, we Praise and uplift the Lord in all that we do.  With a 21ft Southern Skimmer pushed by a 90hp 4T Yamaha and a 22ft Angler Center Console pushed by a 225hp 4T Yamaha, he along with his son Eric can put you on the fish when it seems there’s nothing there.  If it’s catfish, stripe bass, largemouth bass, even just brim fishing on one of the river’s, or maybe you have heard about the big red drum, black drum, trout, sheep head or many of the different fish here in Onslow County we can take you.
